House Finch Bathing

I was walking around Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, WI and enjoying all of the beautiful flowers there when I spotted this finch taking a bath in a small creek and having a great time just splashing water everywhere. I shot in high burst and this is the only shot where the finch's head is still connected to the water before the surface tension breaks that bond and the water is splashing everywhere in this photo creating a very dynamic action shot that juxtaposes with a lot of my more stationary bird portraits in my portfolio. 

PRINT OPTIONS

Photo is available for purchase as a matted print or as a metal print. 

All paper prints are printed with archival matte acid free paper and then acid free matted to ensure the highest quality prints and longevity. 

Metal print are made on high-quality aluminum sheet that has been treated with a special coating that allows the ink to be infused directly into the metal surface and include a float mount for easy wall mounting.

PICKUP INFO

Print turn around times are typically 2-3 business days. I can meet to deliver your prints in the Chattanooga and frequently am in the Atlanta area also for delivery.
